What is Emailr?
Emailr is a desktop application that acts as your AI email assistant. It connects to your email accounts via IMAP/SMTP and lets you read, reply, compose, and manage emails using natural language. Just type what you want, and AI handles the rest.
How does the free trial work?
You get 30 days of full access to every feature when you subscribe. No features are locked or limited during the trial. If you decide Emailr is not for you, simply cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged.
Which email providers are supported?
Emailr supports Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, and any email server that supports IMAP/SMTP. You can also connect Microsoft 365 and Exchange accounts through Outlook Classic on Windows.
What is an App Password?
An App Password is a special password generated by your email provider that lets apps access your account without your main password. Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook all support App Passwords. It is more secure than sharing your regular password. You can generate one from your email provider's security settings.
Is my email data safe?
Yes. Emailr runs entirely on your computer. Your emails are fetched directly from your email server to your device. Your credentials are encrypted and stored locally. We never see, store, or have access to your email data.
Does it work offline?
You need an internet connection to fetch emails and use AI features. However, the app itself runs locally on your device. Previously viewed conversation threads are cached locally.
Can I use it for multiple accounts?
Yes. Create separate workspaces for each email account. Each workspace can have its own context and writing tone settings. Switch between accounts with one click in the sidebar.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. There are no cancellation fees or penalties.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
All your conversation threads and settings are stored locally on your machine. If you cancel your subscription, your local data remains untouched. Emailr does not store any of your data on external servers.
